At a metallic mine project in Guangxi, target boreholes were consistently deep, typically ranging from 700 to 900 meters. The geological conditions were exceptionally challenging, featuring complex strata with intensely fractured rock, severe borehole closure (constriction), and significant water inflow/loss issues. To address these challenges, a DEP800 drilling rig was deployed. Its flexible and lightweight design allowed for agile positioning on-site. Critically, the rig's small annular clearance minimized the risk of borehole collapse and stuck drilling tools, resulting in markedly fewer incidents and significantly enhanced operational safety throughout the campaign.
